This was the second painting that I ever made. I did not own an easel so I painted on my carpet on the floor in a house that I was renting with one of my good buddies, Jeff.
The image was from a calendar from Czechoslovakia from one of my roommates. I took that image but made it my own. I changed the colors of the room, added the candles, and changed the color of the blanket. Originally the woman was blond but when I got married my wife suggested that I make her a redhead. Since she is a smokin hot redhead tamale, I had to make the changes.
